I LOVE being a teacher because I love helping people.  I always have....

Let me start by saying that selling these bags isn't about the money for me. It's about helping people, getting creative, and making something special for someone!

I've always loved crafting, but when I became a teacher, that quickly went out the door. I spent years pouring all my creativity into making learning fun for my students.  Now that I have that down to a science (well, most days 😂), my 17-year-old daughter informed me that I needed a hobby BESIDES teaching.  Apparently, she noticed I was getting bored! It's this ADHD brain of mine.

Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE teaching, but I needed a different outlet for my creative side.  I'm the team lead for an amazing group of teachers, and I absolutely LOVE doing special things for them.  It's my love language! 

I'm also probably the most unprepared person on the planet. I'm always the one asking, "Does anyone have a nail file?" or "Can I borrow some tweezers?" or "Does anyone have gum?"

So I decided to make my team personalized Teacher Survival Kits, complete with their names and filled with the very things I was constantly asking to borrow!  

Then I remembered a speedy, unexpected road trip with my mom. 

I had NOTHING in my car. We had to stop at gas stations along the way, paying WAY too much for things we needed, including tweezers so my mom could pluck her chin hairs while we drove. 😂 True story!

That's when I started thinking...surely there are other people out there just as unprepared as I am!  I wanted to help people be ready for life's little emergencies. The spills on shirts, the button that pops off, the stinky-breath situation when your client keeps standing a little TOO far away, or the trip where you forget half the things you need.

What if all those little essentials were already packed in one cute bag? 

You wouldn't have to worry about remembering everything!  Unless you forget the bag. Then I can't help you there. 😂

But what I love MOST is the story behind each bag. The one being made for a daughter heading to college, a friend getting married, a teacher who deserves something special, or someone who just needs a little help being prepared.

I LOVE customizing them! I love talking to the people who order, hearing their ideas, and making sure I'm creating exactly what they want. That's what makes this so much fun for me.

My daughter told me to find a hobby, and apparently, I turned it into a business! ❤️
